We use an all natural soy wax, made from US grown soybeans. Soy burns cooler and longer than paraffin, and as a renewable resource, it is superior for the environment. We believe that uncolored soy is not only safer to burn, but is also more beautiful in its natural color. Our wicks are lead-free and are made of braided cotton. Please note that our candles are made from all natural ingredients. Slight changes in color and small imperfections in the wax are perfectly normal, and will not affect the performance of your candle. We recommend burning your candles within one year for best performance.

Unfortunately, in an attempt to expedite our shipping process and get orders out as quickly as possible, we cannot make any changes to an order once it has been processed. Tunneling Problem: Tunneling is when wax remains around the edges while your candle burns down in the middle. Tunneling Fix: Our first tip is simply to light your candle up for a long time on the first burn. And by a long time, we mean a LONG time. It could be 4 hours until the total area of your candle has melted, but it could also be 6. This is why it might be a good idea to light your candle first time in the morning or in the afternoon. This allows you to have a few hours to burn it, before you go to sleep. Our Second Tip is folding a piece of aluminum foil in half, wrapping it around the candle, and puncturing a hole over the flame like a tent (leaving a hole for it to get oxygen). Keep the foil on for about 30 minutes, and all of that built-up wax should be melted off the sides
